Providence is a free to play multiplayer survival shooter, where players take the role of Trailblazers sent to Providence, an anomaly filled corner of the galaxy to extract resources and ancient secrets.
Survive the Slipworlds
The fragments of destroyed planets called Slipworlds briefly appear around colossal mechanism called Singularities, only to disappear again. Trailblazers who made the journey here are now faced with the ultimate challenge of staying alive by exploring these planetoids, where the resources needed to survive and remains of lost civilizations can be found.
Customize Your Gameplay
In the Providence Universe, survival depends on your customizable Loadout. Scattered among the remaining rocks and planets in the abyss, resources, blueprints and alien artifacts allow you to tailor your gear to your gameplay style and challenges you are against.
PvE + PvP
The action begins when you leave your Homestead. You must explore the Slipworlds on the brink of destruction to survive. Trailblazers can venture into these unstable worlds to obtain resources, blueprints and artifacts. Each Slipworld is different and some Slipworlds also pit Trailblazers against each other. The option to risk more is up to you Trailblazer.
Play Together as a Squad, or Community
While Trailblazers have the capacity to survive independently in the Providence Universe, they also have the option to collaborate with other players and venture into uncharted territories as a team. Players can form Communities and create Outposts which serve as the main hubs for social interaction and trading of vital resources and blueprints.
Player-Driven Economy
Providence is a true free-to-play game that leverages blockchain technology to empower players to control the economy and markets transparently. In the Providence Universe, Trailblazers can obtain the resources and blueprints needed to advance in the game without relying on micro-transactions. Not much exists in Providence unless it has been extracted or crafted by the players. The market is determined by Trailblazers as they decide the value of everything.
